What we collect

Who else sees it

Making a portrait means sending your pet’s photograph to the companies whose models render it. We use as few as we can, and none of them are advertisers:

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your pet’s photographs to advertise to anyone.

Your pictures stay yours

Photographs you upload and portraits made for you are stored privately and are visible only to your account. Nothing you make appears anywhere on this site — no gallery, no example, no other customer’s preview — unless you ask us to put it there. The pictures shown publicly on Bear & Birdie belong to the house.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account, so your library is there when you come back. Ask us to close your account and we delete your photographs, your portraits and your profile. Records of orders we have already fulfilled are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

What you can ask for

A copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion — including everything above. Write to us and we will do it. If you are in the UK or the European Union, these are your rights under the GDPR; if you are in California, under the CCPA. We apply them to everyone regardless.

Email we send

We send email only about your account and your orders — confirming a sign-in, resetting a password, telling you a portrait is ready. We do not send marketing email, so there is no list to leave.

Children

Bear & Birdie is for adults. We do not knowingly hold information about anyone under 16.

Changes

If this page changes we will change the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we will tell you by email.
